    “This House is of the opinion that killings of innocent Muslims in Burma by Buddhist community is a condemnable act, and should be stopped immediately. This House is also of the opinion that Government of Pakistan shall use its diplomatic channels and play its role in stopping the killings.”

    “This House expresses serious reservations over the dual nationality bill because it will compromise our national sovereignty and territorial integrity. This bill will have serious consequences in the long run and will pave the way for the hostile forces to undermine the country’s unity on the direction of their foreign mentors.”

“This House is of the opinion that the Government may take immediate steps to declare Urdu as official language of the country in pursuance of Article 251 (1) of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.”

“This House expresses grave apprehension and strong disappointment on the decision of the United States to support India for becoming permanent member of UN Security Council.  This House believes that this particular decision has grave implication for the direction and prospects of the system of multilateral cooperation promoted by the UN charter and for peace and security and stability in region, particularly South Asia”.

“This House is of the opinion that the bilateral economic relations between Pakistan and India since Independence have been effected by the Political factors. With a vision to enhance Peace and Prosperity flourish in the region; both countries should progress towards closer economic relations synergizing the bilateral economic potential. Moreover there is a need to make use of the South Asian Free trade agreement (SAFTA).”

    “This House is of the opinion that interference of India and Afghanistan in the internal matters of Pakistan, especially the province of Baluchistan is alarming and Pakistan must raise this issue on International forums to seize the attention of international community on this matter of importance.”

Mr. Muhammad Hammad Malik (YP16-KPK03) and Ms. Mehreen Syeda (YP29-PUNJAB09) would like to move the following resolution:

 
“This House is of the opinion that Pakistan and India should make the Indus Water Commission more effective (as per article 7 and 8 of Indus Water Treaty) and the Exchange of Data about the Projects on Western Rivers (as per Article 6 of Indus Water Treaty 1960) by India must be ensured to minimize any future water dispute between the countries.”

“This House is of the opinion that in order to take a step forward in normalizing Pakistan-India relations, visa restrictions between the two countries should be relaxed.”

Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen (YP51-SINDH03) and Mr. Hunain Ali Quadri (YP49-SINDH01) would like to move the following resolution:

“This House is of the opinion that India is violating the territorial laws each & everyday by firing / shelling within the Pakistani boundary limits. Without quarrel India should be emphasized to stop these immoral and negative acts and it should be invited on board to resolve the border dispute.”

“This House is of the opinion that in wake of the recent killings of twenty-five Shia Passengers on August 16 in Babo Sur. The House would like to bring the attention of the government to find out the actual causes of terrorism in our country, the genocide of Shia Muslims by banned outfits in Gilgit-Baltistan & Quetta, in order to move towards its solutions.”

“This House is of the opinion that political advertising is increasingly being applied to media during election campaigns; sometimes a politician contending an election will make an explicit comparison between himself and his rival, others use government money and resources to advertise for their political campaigns. Such Political advertisements on television should be banned in order to give the general population an opportunity to self-evaluate and choose their leaders."

    “This House is of the opinion that PEMRA rules pertaining to Media broadcasting are not being implemented in letter and spirit. Violation of PEMRA laws can be witnessed on several private TV channels accessible on Cable TV. Prompt actions must be taken against such program contents on television as per PEMRA rules.”

“This House is of the opinion that there is lack of co-ordination between the industries and educational institutions to improve the technical and practical skills of the students. Moreover Young graduates and educated youth are not provided proper job opportunities and this is creating frustration and extremism in the youth of Pakistan. Proper legislation and policy should be devised by the government to allocate job opportunities and training for young graduates.”

    “This House is of the opinion that Government should lift ban from all Baloch websites that are pertaining to news, culture, education and foremost not against the essence of Federation. This should be done in accordance with the Constitution of Pakistan which safeguards the fundamental rights of people. Immediate steps must be undertaken to cope with the illegal restriction by PTA.”

    “This House is of the opinion that the government must ensure de-weaponisation and deal with persistent violence in all educational institutions and generally create conditions where the right to freedom of association can be enjoyed in its true spirit rather than by armed hooligans    masquerading as student unions. Incidents of violence at educational institutions must be dealt with priority and in a transparent and unbiased manner.  Mere rhetoric will not lead to the desired result of reintroducing self-governance in educational institutions.”

    “This House is of the opinion that the launch of 3G and 4G technologies in Pakistan is vital for the growth of both Telecom sector and Economy of Pakistan. Moreover there is an immense need to revisit the sales and purchase agreement between Aetsalat and Government. Strong measures are necessary to break the monopolies of the existing players in the telecom sector to foster foreign investment and competition.”
