  Brief Profile  

Mr. Amir Abbas Turi, born on August 19, 1989, belongs to Kurram Agency in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). He received his early education from Peshawar. At school, he was an executive member of the Debating Society and represented his alma mater at various debating competitions. He also served as the Chief Proctor at school. He obtained a BS degree in Electronics' Engineering from BUITEMS, Quetta. During his stint at the University, he served as the Provincial President of Tribal Students Union, Central General Secretary of Imamia Students Organization and the Central General Secretary of Mutahidda Talba Mahaz. Amir wishes to pursue further education in the discipline of energy management and renewable energy. His areas of interest include politics of Pakistan, educating child beggars and promotion of renewable energy resources.

Mr. Salman Khan Shinwari (YP18-KPK05), Mr. Amir Abbas (YP08-FATA01) and Mr. Noman Nayyar Kulachvi (YP17-KPK04) would like to move the following resolution:“This House is of the opinion that in wake of the recent bomb blast in Peshawar, the House would like to bring the attention of the government to find out the actual causes of terrorism in our country in order to move towards its solutions”.

Mr. Saleem Khan (YP07-BALOCHISTAN05), Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali (YP03-BALOCHISTAN01), Mr. Amir Abbas (YP08-FATA 01), Mr. Hafeezullah Wazir (YP09-FATA02), Mr. Najeeb Abid Baloch (YP05-BALOCHISTAN03) and Mr. Usama Riaz (YP37-PUNJAB17) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that “eighty percent economy of Baluchistan province is based on agriculture” but unfortunately for the last two decades drought has almost destroyed the agriculture sector as compared to other provinces the water channels system in Baluchistan is limited only to two districts while agricultural activities in rest of the districts depend upon tube wells and Load shedding has further destroy the agriculture sector, low voltage cause the huge damages to the tube wells resulting the finical losses of the formers. This not only created the hurdle for stabilizing the economy but also discourage the lives of those relating to the agriculture sector, so This House demand the federal government to take revolutionary steps towards the implementation of agriculture reforms and also take the decision of withdrawal of electricity subsidy on agriculture tube wells which will be in the benefit of province and its peoples”.
