  Brief Profile  

Mr. Saleem Khan hails from Zhob City, Balochistan. He was born on January 1, 1988. Currently, he is enrolled in B.Sc. (Honours) programme in Geography at Government College University (GCU), Lahore. He completed his matriculation from Government High School Zhob and then moved to Peshawar for higher learning where he passed his F.Sc. from City College of Arts and Sciences, Peshawar. He is the executive member of Garret History Society GCU, member of Quaid-e-Azam Political Science Society GCU and Joint Secretary of Garret Geographical Society, Lahore.

Politically, Saleem Khan was affiliated with Blue Party and was member of Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Interior, Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA

Mr. Saleem khan (YP07-BALOCHISTAN05), Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali (YP03-BALOCHISTAN01), Mr. Amir Abbas (YP08-FATA 01), Mr. Hafeezullah Wazir (YP09-FATA02), Mr. Najeeb Abid Baloch (YP05-BALOCHISTAN03) and Mr. Usama Riaz (YP37-PUNJAB17) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that “eighty percent economy of Baluchistan province is based on agriculture” but unfortunately for the last two decades drought has almost destroyed the agriculture sector as compared to other provinces the water channels system in Baluchistan is limited only to two districts while agricultural activities in rest of the districts depend upon tube wells and Load shedding has further destroy the agriculture sector, low voltage cause the huge damages to the tube wells resulting the finical losses of the formers. This not only created the hurdle for stabilizing the economy but also discourage the lives of those relating to the agriculture sector, so This House demand the federal government to take revolutionary steps towards the implementation of agriculture reforms and also take the decision of withdrawal of electricity subsidy on agriculture tube wells which will be in the benefit of province and its peoples”.

Mr. Muhammad Aamir Khan Khichi (YP30-PUNJAB10), Mr. Osama Mehmood (YP42-PUNJAB22), Mr. Umer Raza (YP48-PUNJAB28), Mr. Saleem khan (YP07-BALOCHISTAN05), Ms. Shaheera Jalil Albasit (YP56-SINDH06) and Mr Omair Najam (YP52-SINDH04) would like to move the following resolution:“This House is of the opinion that human rights violations such as arbitrary detention, torture, deaths in custody, forced disappearances, and extrajudicial execution are rampant throughout Pakistan. The government of Pakistan must ensure basic fundamental rights of all citizens prescribed under constitution according to Article 10, 12 and 37”.
