  Brief Profile  

Mr. Haseeb Ahsan, born on December 27, 1989, hails from Karachi. He completed his graduation from Federal University Karachi. He is currently enrolled in a Masters programme in Mass Communication from University of Karachi. He has worked in Metro One TV as a News Editor for six months. He has also worked as an organiser in Karachi Youth Federation.

  Status in Youth Parliament  

Politically, Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen was affiliated with Green Party and served as, Youth Shadow Minister for Information and was member of Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Information and former member Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence from Session I to Session IV

Mr. Malik Rehan Baloch (YP04-BALOCHISTAN02) and Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen (YP51-SINDH03) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that the issues of the province of BALOCHISTAN are of serious nature. It advises the Government to look for ways to resolve the issues of the province which now pose a threat to the very existence of the country. The House condemns the Resolution moved in the US Congress regarding BALOCHISTAN.”

Mr. Tabraiz Sadiq Marri( YP58-SINDH10), Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen ( YP51-SINDH03), Mr. Hunain Ali Quadri ( YP49-SINDH01), Mr.Jamal Jamaee (YP50-SINDH02) and Ms.Ushna Ahmed (YP59-SINDH11) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that The Islamic Republic of Pakistan favors strong diplomatic ties with United States of America on the basis of equality and mutual respect keeping in view the equally valuable nature of this relationship. However, we prioritize our territorial integrity and sovereignty over any advantageous association and therefore demand respect for our territorial integrity, sovereignty and internal affairs for the continuation of this beneficial association as we vouch to reciprocate similar respect to The United States of America".

Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen (YP51-SINDH03) and Mr. Jamal Naseer Jamaee (YP50-SINDH02) would like to move the following resolution:“This House is of the opinion that Media is a strong pillar of the state and is a source of information for the citizens of Pakistan. We support an unbiased media and therefore suggest formation of new rules to address this issue.”

Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen (YP51-SINDH03) and Mr. Jamal Naseer Jamaee (YP50-SINDH02) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that Railways and PIA are National assets, but due to negligence and corruption these institutes are at the verge of destruction. It’s important to do some emergency reforms for the betterment of these national assets. We need to identify the culprits & punish them”

Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen (YP51-SINDH03) and Mr. Hunain Quadri (YP49-SINDH01) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that Prisoners are human beings and they have fundamental rights as well. The condition of prisons around the country needs attention of authorities concerned and within prisons it is state’s duty to make prisoners skillful because it will help them to earn livelihood and will refrain them from further crime; upon their release from prison”.

Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsan (YP51-SINDH03) and Mr. Hunain Ali Quadri (YP49-SINDH01) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that India is violating the territorial laws each & everyday by firing / shelling within the Pakistani boundary limits. Without quarrel India should be emphasized to stop these immoral and negative acts and it should be invited on board to resolve the border dispute.”

Mr. Haseeb Ahsan (YP51-SINDH03) and Mr. Jamal Naseer Jamaee (YP50-SINDH02) would like to move the following resolution: “This House condemns the allocation of secret funds to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting under title head “Miscellaneous” and believes that such funds must not be allocated to any Ministry without appropriate justification and must be meticulous audited at the end of Fiscal year.”

Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen (YP51-SINDH03) invites the attention of Honourable Youth Minister for Information on imposition of the new Tax on every mobile user and Vehicle buyer imposed for the betterment of Radio Pakistan. The imposition of this Tax is totally unfair and is unnecessary burden on the people of Pakistan.

Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen (YP51-SINDH03), Mr. Jamal Naseer Jamaee (YP50-SINDH02), Mr. Siraj Din Memon (YP57-SINDH09) , Mr. Omair Najam (YP52-SINDH04), Mr. Hunain Ali Quadri (YP49-SINDH01), Ms. Seep Akhtar Channer (YP55-SINDH07), Ms. Ushna Ahmed (YP59-SINDH11) and Mr. Tabraiz sadiq Marri (YP58-SINDH10) would like to move the following resolution: “This House believes that special attention must be given to Karachi’s law and order situation keeping in view its importance as the economic hub of Pakistan. This house also demands that the Government of Pakistan must take strict, impartial and bold action against the criminals, and may also utilize Military for this purpose if required.

Mr. Muhammad Haseeb Ahsen (YP51-SINDH03) would like to move the following motion: “This House may discuss the role of Pakistan as a front line state in the War against terror keeping in view the tremendous loss Pakistan has suffered since 2001; both economic and human.”
