  Brief Profile  

Mr. Naveed Hassan, born April 15, 1992, hails from Okara. He is currently enrolled in a BA programme in University of Punjab with a major in Political Science. He stood 3rd in Essay Writing Competition by representing his school in Punjab Lok Boli Mela 2006. He worked in his school life as a scout to help the victims of 2005 Earthquake in Bagh, Azad Kashmir as well as a volunteer for flood victims in Mianwali. He is a professional cricketer and playing Grade-2 cricket in Pakistan Cricket Board since 2009 by representing District Cricket Association Okara as a batting all-rounder.

Politically, Naveed Hassan was affiliated with Green Party and served as, Youth Shadow Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication and was member of Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Information

Mr. Muhammad Hammad Malik (YP16-KPK03) and Mr. Naveed Hassan (YP41-PUNJAB21) would like to move following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that Tax collection department should be made more resourceful, it must be independent in its work and must be beyond the hold of Political figures. This department should work as NAB works and it must only be answerable to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, so that Tax collection can be done transparently”

Mr. Muhammad Hammad Malik (YP16-KPK03),Mr. Naveed Hassan (YP41-PUNJAB21) and Mr. Yasir Riaz (YP12-ICT02) would like to move the following resolution: “The House is of the opinion that more funds must be allocated to the Higher education commission in the budget so that the development of higher education can be done and scholarships schemes for PHDs can be initiated which is the most important need of the country”

Mr. Tabraiz Sadiq Marri (YP58-SINDH10), Mr. Jamal Naseer Jamaee (YP50-SINDH02) and Mr. Naveed Hassan (YP41-PUNJAB21) would like to move the following resolution; “This House is of the opinion that the Government may take immediate steps to declare Urdu as official language of the country in pursuance of Article 251 (1) of the Constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.”

Ms. Ushna Ahmed (YP50-SINDH11), Mr. Naveed Hasan(YP41-PUNJAB21) and Mr. Rehan Dashti (YP04-BALOCHISTAN02) would like to move the following resolution; “This House is of the opinion that PEMRA rules pertaining to Media broadcasting are not being implemented in letter and spirit. Violation of PEMRA laws can be witnessed on several private TV channels accessible on Cable TV. Prompt actions must be taken against such program contents on television as per PEMRA rules.”
