|
|
Mr. Muhammad Waqar was born on October 3, 1988 in Lahore. He completed his FSc from Government College University (GCU), Lahore and is currently doing his BSc (Hons.) double major in Economics and Political Sciences degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He has been socially active in several activities including in the series of protests against Sialkot incident (2010), Awareness campaign for the constructive interaction of Police and Civil society, LUMS flood relief activities and earthquake relief activities(2005). He has been an Executive Council Member of Literary Society, Law and Politics Society and Olympiad at LUMS. He has been attached to Former Ambassador Syed Azmat Hassan for a research paper on Middle East. He is currently doing research under supervision of Former Ambassador Shahryar Khan and Former Ambassador Iqbal Khan on Pakistan’s foreign policy and its critical issues. |

The government should take immediate actions to encounter problems of deforestation, rapid urban growth, excessive greenhouse gas emissions, among other things aiding the problem of climate change and opt for a more sustainable model of growth and development.” |
