Incidents of violence at educational institutions must be dealt with priority and in a transparent and unbiased manner. Fifth Session
(19-9-2012)

Mr. Muhammad Umar Riaz (YP36-PUNJAB16), Mr. Muhammad Sohail (YP34-PUNJAB14), Mr. Omair Najam (YP52-SINDH04), Ms. Anum Mohsin (YP22-PUNJAB02), Mr. Muhammad Hamid Chaudhary (YP32-PUNJAB12) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that weak and corrupt democratic rule has always resulted in the emergence and even dominance of the military in the political milieu, thus making the Army a key decision-maker not only in maintaining defence but also in chalking out domestic, foreign and security policies. From clerical staff to higher offices and bureaucrats, corruption of one kind or the other is widespread. The need of the hour is to make internal policies based on accountability to counter corruption and drastic reforms need to be initiated.”

Feasible steps should be taken to ensure that primary schooling should be made compulsory and hindrances in this process should be dealt with an iron hand.”
