  Brief Profile  

Mr. Muhammad Aamir Khan Khichi was born on January 15, 1987. He completed his M.Sc. in International Relations from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. He represented Quaid-i-Azam University in Youth in Governance conference organized by Transparency International & Swiss Agency for Development & Cooperation, Switzerland. He was also an Executive Member in Ravian Law Society in GCU Lahore. He has served as Vice President of International Relation Society, at Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.

  Status in Youth Parliament  

Politically, Muhammad Aamir Khan Khichi was affiliated with Blue Party and served as, Youth Minister for Interior, Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA and was member of Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Interior, Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA and former member Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence from Session I to Session IV

Mr. Osama Mehmood (YP42-PUNJAB22), Mr. Muhammad Atique (YP11-ICT01), Mr. Muhammad Aamir Khan Khichi (YP30-PUNJAB10) and Mr. Najeeb Abid Baloch (YP05-BALOCHISTAN03) to move the following motion: “This House may discuss the reforms in collection of revenue generation and how to make sure it’s transparent mechanism. As we know that we are suffering from budget deficit and low revenue generation. Reforms in our country’s revenue system would be helpful in economic growth of the country.”

Mr. Muhammad Aamir Khan Khichi (YP30-PUNJAB10), Mr. Osama Mehmood (YP42-PUNJAB22), Mr. Umer Raza (YP48-PUNJAB28), Mr. Saleem Khan (YP07-BALOCHISTAN05), Ms. Shaheera Jalil (YP56-SINDH06) and Mr Omair Najam (YP52-SINDH04) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that human rights violations such as arbitrary detention, torture, deaths in custody, forced disappearances, and extrajudicial execution are rampant throughout Pakistan. The government of Pakistan must ensure basic fundamental rights of all citizens prescribed under constitution according to Article 10, 12 and 37”.

The government should improvise the condition of Higher Education Commission and should pay its due installments on time to safeguard the (standard of) Higher Education”.

Government needs to safeguard the fundamental rights of all religious minorities (as per constitution of Islamic republic of Pakistan and in the light of the principles mentioned by the Founder of Pakistan in His 11 August 1947 speech) , and take practical steps to safeguard the rights" .

In order to make sure responsibility and accountability of media it is need of hour that media should have code of ethics and under that ethical boundaries media should perform his duty and accountable to the public.”

These channels should not only be penalized but strict action should also be taken against them.”

This will accelerate the process of inculcating harmony between civilians & military officials.”
