  Brief Profile  

Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali was born on September 20, 1991. She belongs to Quetta, Balochistan. She completed her O levels and A levels from Iqra APSACS and the City School respectively. She is currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering programme in University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore. She aspires to pursue a career in politics. She has held the posts of Student Councillor, Vice-Captain of Sports Team, Prefect (twice) and the Head-Prefect. She likes playing basketball and has been provincial member of badminton and baseball. Currently, she is a member of the debating society, literary society and IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering). She has also worked as an intern in a public hospital and a private NGO on primary education. Her interests include Foreign Affairs and Finance.

Politically, Elia Nauroz Ali was affiliated with Blue Party and served as, Chief Whip of Blue Party and was member of Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence

Mr. Muhammad Waqar (YP38-PUNJAB18), Mr. Muhammad Zafar Siddique (YP39-PUNJAB19), Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali (YP03-BALOCHISTAN01), Ms. Anum Mohsin (YP22-PUNJAB02), Mr. Umer Raza (YP48-PUNJAB28), Mr. Salman Khan Shinwari (YP18-KPK05) and Mr. Siraj Din Memon (YP57-SINDH09) invite the attention of the Honorable Youth Prime Minister to the unfortunate event took place on 7th April 2012 between 3 am - 4 am when an Avalanche hit 135 individuals including 124 soldiers and 11 civilians at Gayari sector near Siachen Glacier.

Ms. Shaheera Jalil Albasit (YP56-SINDH08), Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali (YP03-BALOCHISTAN01), Mr. Ahmed Numair Farooq (YP21-PUNJAB01) and Mr. Gohar Zaman (YP25-PUNJAB05) invite the attention of the Youth Prime Minister to the prevailing scenario of lack of governance and lack of public access to decision-making and to economic benefits in the existing provinces. While abiding by the spirit of the federation, the House can discuss the measures necessary for improved governance, improved public access to resources and improved economic growth of the country. The House shall discuss advantages of demarcation of provinces as a possible solution.

Mr. Ahmed Numiar Farooq (YP21-PUNJAB01), Mr. Salman Khan Shinwari (YP18-KPK05), Mr Gohar Zaman (YP25-PUNJAB05), Mr. Amir Abbas (YP08-FATA01), Ms. Anum Mohsin (YP22-PUNJAB02) and Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali (YP03-BOLOCHISTAN03) would like to move the following resolution: This House is of the opinion that enhanced economic cooperation between Pakistan and United States is the only way forward for the bilateral relations between the two countries and urged the current government to diplomatically secure more trade incentives from United States in the form of Low tariffs Reconstruction Opportunity Zones, Cooperation in energy sector and increase in the investment from United States. Moreover the following steps should also be taken for ensuring a bilateral benefit in political cooperation on the basis of equality: Henceforth, the armed forces of the United States/NATO should in no case violate the borders of Pakistan by any means whatsoever; Agreements concluded between the US and Pakistan shall not be binding on either the party until they are reduced to written form; The losses of Pakistan in war against terrorism should be adequately compensated and its role duly recognized.”

Ms. Shaheera Jalil Albasit (YP56-SINDH08), Ms. Anum Mohsin (YP22-PUNJAB02), Ms. Anum Zia (YP23-PUNJAB03), Ms. Yusraa Faaruq (YP13-ICT03), Ms. Seep Akhter Channer (YP55-SINDH07), Ms. Samman Ehsan (YP54-SINDH06), Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali (YP03-BALOCHISTAN01), Ms. Sahar Iqbal (YP44-PUNJAB24), Ms. Rabiya Shamim (YP53-SINDH05), and Ms. Elwina Rauf (YP10-GB01) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that the use of model of ‘Baltistan Apricot Revolution’ to introduce measures to facilitate the Micro- Finance Business Ventures of Women in Small Cities where Cottage Industry is more exploitable and encourage Private Companies and Investors to Increase Women Employment in the Service Sector of Urban Areas on the model of ‘Qatar National Vision 2030”.

Mr. Saleem Khan (YP07-BALOCHISTAN05), Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali (YP03-BALOCHISTAN01), Mr. Amir Abbas (YP08-FATA01), Mr. Hafeezullah Wazir (YP09-FATA02), Mr. Najeeb Abid Baloch (YP05-BALOCHISTAN03) and Mr. Usama Riaz (YP37-PUNJAB17) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that “eighty percent economy of Baluchistan province is based on agriculture” but unfortunately for the last two decades drought has almost destroyed the agriculture sector as compared to other provinces the water channels system in Baluchistan is limited only to two districts while agricultural activities in rest of the districts depend upon tube wells and Load shedding has further destroy the agriculture sector, low voltage cause the huge damages to the tube wells resulting the finical losses of the formers. This not only created the hurdle for stabilizing the economy but also discourage the lives of those relating to the agriculture sector, so This House demand the federal government to take revolutionary steps towards the implementation of agriculture reforms and also take the decision of withdrawal of electricity subsidy on agriculture tube wells which will be in the benefit of province and its peoples”.

Mr. Hassan Ashraf (YP01-AJK01), Mr. Touseef Ahmed Abbasi (YP02-AJK02), Mr. Aamir Abbas (YP08-FATA01), Mr. Salman Khan Shinwari (YP18-KPK05), Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali (YP03-BALOCHISTAN01), Ms. Sahar Iqbal (YP44-PUNJAB24) and Ms. Anam Saeed (YP28-PUNJAB08) to introduce a Private Member Bill further to amend “Pakistan Penal Code (Act XLV of 1860).”
