  Brief Profile  

Ms. Anum Mohisn, born on August 16, 1991, hails from the city of Lahore. She is enrolled in Bachelors in International Relations from Kinnaird College, Lahore. She has worked with the Pakistan Girls Guide Association (2008-2011), community service. In 2009 November she was selected to represent Young Leaders of Pakistan in Asia Pacific Summit held in Philippines (November 11-14). She has completed various courses such as Red Crescent certificate, Nutritionist certificate and HIV/ Aids Awareness Programme. She has also participated in Kinnaird College Seminar on Sexual Harassment in October 2010.

Politically, Anum Mohsin was affiliated with Blue Party and was member of Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Interior, Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA

Mr. Muhammad Waqar (YP38-PUNJAB18), Mr. Muhammad Zafar Siddique (YP39-PUNJAB19), Ms. Elia Nauroz Ali (YP03-BALOCHISTAN03), Ms. Anum Mohsin (YP22-PUNJAB02), Mr. Umer Raza (YP48-PUNJAB28), Mr. Salman Khan Shinwari (YP18-KPK05) and Mr. Siraj Din Memon (YP57-SINDH09) invite the attention of the Honorable Youth Prime Minister to the unfortunate event took place on 7th April 2012 between 3 am - 4 am when an Avalanche hit 135 individuals including 124 soldiers and 11 civilians at Gayari sector near Siachen Glacier.

Mr. Omair Najam, (YP52-SINDH04), Mr. Siraj Din Memon (YP57-SINDH09), Ms. Rabiya Shamim (YP53-SINDH05) and Ms. Anum Mohsin (YP22-PUNJAB02) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that there is lack of co-ordination between the industries and educational institutions to improve the technical and practical skills of the students. Moreover Young graduates and educated youth are not provided proper job opportunities and this is creating frustration and extremism in the youth of Pakistan. Proper legislation and policy should be devised by the government to allocate job opportunities and training for young graduates.”

Mr. Muhammad Umar Riaz (YP36-PUNJAB16), Mr. Muhammad Sohail (YP34-PUNJAB14), Mr. Omair Najam (YP52-SINDH04), Ms. Anum Mohsin (YP22-PUNJAB02), Mr. Muhammad Hamid Chaudhary (YP32-PUNJAB12) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that weak and corrupt democratic rule has always resulted in the emergence and even dominance of the military in the political milieu, thus making the Army a key decision-maker not only in maintaining defence but also in chalking out domestic, foreign and security policies. From clerical staff to higher offices and bureaucrats, corruption of one kind or the other is widespread. The need of the hour is to make internal policies based on accountability to counter corruption and drastic reforms need to be initiated.”
