  Brief Profile  

Mr. Muhammad Hammad Malik Tanoli, born on August 22, 1988, hails from Mansehra, Hazara Region. He has completed his BS (Hons) Applied Geology with specialization in Petroleum Geology from the Punjab University (PU), Lahore and is currently enrolled in MS Petroleum Geology in PU, Lahore. During his BS study programme, he won Merit Scholarship from HEC. He also serves as Student Advisor and Chief Organizer of Pakistan Association of Petroleum Geologists (PAPG) PU-Chapter and organized many workshops and seminars on various topics. He played an active role in Tehreek-e-Sooba Hazara and raising the voice of his people on social media and Internet forums. He is also a member of Punjab University Rowing team and Captain of Inter-Departmental Basketball team. His interests include Hunting, Hiking and Camping and has taken part in many adventure expeditions. In future he wants to be a Bureaucrat.

  Status in Youth Parliament  

Politically, Muhammad Hammad Malik was affiliated with Green Party and served as, General Secretary of Green Party; Chairperson Youth Parliament Special Committee on Energy Issues and was member of Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence

Mr. Muhammad Hammad Malik (YP16-KPK03) and Mr. Yasir Riaz (YP12-ICT02) Mr. Muhammad Taimoor Shah (YP35-PUNJAB15) to move the following motion;“This House may discuss the issue of energy crises in the country”.

Second Session

Ms. Mehreen Syeda (YP29-PUNJAB09), Mr. Syed Shan Haider (YP20-KPK07) and Mr. Muhammad Hammad Malik (YP16-KPK03) would like to move the following resolution:“This House is of the opinion that in principle we agree that there is need for new provinces to be carved out including the issue of tribal areas with relevance to our federal state structure but at this point in time this ongoing debate about new provinces would be fruitless, keeping in view the volatile situation in tribal areas, KPK, and BALOCHISTAN. Moreover, this house emphasizes to consolidate the existing federal state structure, in line with 18th constitutional amendment, before launching into the process of formation of new provinces”.

Mr. Muhammad Hammad Malik (YP16-KPK03) and Mr. Naveed Hassan (YP41-PUNJAB21) would like to move following resolution:“This House is of the opinion that Tax collection department should be made more resourceful, it must be independent in its work and must be beyond the hold of Political figures. This department should work as NAB works and it must only be answerable to the Supreme Court of Pakistan, so that Tax collection can be done transparently”.

Mr. Muhammad Hammad Malik (YP16-KPK03), Mr. Naveed Hassan (YP41-PUNJAB21) and Mr. Yasir Riaz (YP12-ICT02) would like to move the following resolution: “The House is of the opinion that more funds must be allocated to the Higher education commission in the budget so that the development of higher education can be done and scholarships schemes for PHDs can be initiated which is the most important need of the country”

Mr. Jamal Naseer Jamaee (YP50-SINDH02) and Mr. Muhammad Hammad Malik (YP16-KPK03) would like to move the following resolution: “This House is of the opinion that interference of India and Afghanistan in the internal matters of Pakistan, especially the province of Baluchistan is alarming and Pakistan must raise this issue on International forums to seize the attention of international community on this matter of importance.”
