  Brief Profile  

Ms. Yusraa Faaruq, born on October 4, 1991, hails from Islamabad. She completed her A-Levels from Beaconhouse Islamabad in 2010. She is currently enrolled in University of London, in a B.Sc. (Honours) International Programme in Accounting and Finance at the University College of Islamabad. She has worked as an intern at Askari Bank and in the DHA Islamabad's Marketing Department. She aims to pursue a career in Finance. She also volunteers with work and teaching in a local school for underprivileged children and is interested in issues concerning Women's rights.

Politically, Yusraa Faaruq was affiliated with Blue Party and served as, Chairperson Youth Parliament Standing Committee on Finance, Planning Affairs and Economics

Mr. Amir Abbas (YP08-FATA01), Ms. Anum Mohsin (YP22-PUNJAB02), Mr. Muhammad Zafar Siddique (YP39-PUNJAB19), Mr. Salman Khan Shinwari (YP18-KPK05), Ms. Seep Akhter Channer (YP55-SINDH07), Mr. Siraj Din Memon (YP57-SINDH09), Mr. Touseef Ahmed Abbasi (YP02-AJK02) and Ms. Yusraa Faaruq (YP13-ICT03) would like to move the following motion: “This House may discuss powers of the president over FATA and the role of the Parliament in decision making regarding FATA as per the application of the 1973 constitution of Pakistan”

Mr. Amir Abbas (YP08-FATA01), Ms. Anum Mohsin (YP22-PUNJAB02), Mr. Muhammad Zafar Siddique (YP39-PUNJAB19), Mr. Salman Khan Shinwari (YP18-KPK05), Ms. Seep Akhter Channar (YP55- SINDH07), Mr. Siraj Din Memon (YP57-SINDH09), Mr. Touseef Abbasi (YP02-AJK02) and Ms. Yusraa Faaruq (YP13-ICT03) would like to move the following motion:“This House may discuss the issue of FATA (Federally Administered Tribal Areas) regarding making FATA a separate province as the federally administered belt does not enjoy basic political, social and administrative rights since the independence as the other provinces do.”
