|
Mr. Yasir Riaz, born on September 8, 1983, belongs to Islamabad. He obtained his Masters in Statistics from Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi, followed by M.Phil in Statistics from Government College University (GCU) Lahore. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Econometrics from International Islamic University Islamabad. He started his professional life as a research coordinator at Institute of Policy Studies Islamabad. He also worked as a Deputy Director at Center for Educational Research and Policy Analysis for more than a year. He taught in different institutes including GCU, Lahore and Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi. Currently, he is working as a statistician at Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. He has actively participated in extracurricular activities. He was awarded the second prize at a national level competition of story writing organized by Dawa' Academy. Mr. Riaz has published in different newspapers and magazines. He has also written a novel. He also worked as an editor of monthly Paigham-e-Iqbal Digest for more than two years. |

Mr. Jamal Naseer Jamaee (YP50-SINDH02) and Mr. Yasir Riaz (YP12-ICT02) invite the attention of the Minister of Youth for Interior, Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA on the sectarian violence in Gilgit-Baltistan that has claimed approximately 8000 lives since 1989 to date. It is a matter of urgent importance and I request the Minister to make a statement thereon. |

Inflation in Pakistan remains in double digit from last many years which affect almost all sectors of economy. Government should control inflation by taking monetary, fiscal and non-monetary, non-fiscal measures into account.” |
